ATAC’s 2024 CANADIAN AVIATION CONFERENCE WRAP-UP

 

The ATAC Board of Directors and staff want to express our sincere thanks to all those who participated in our recently concluded 2024 Canadian Aviation Conference and Tradeshow. Over 400 delegates registered for this event held in Vancouver earlier this month. Your presence, engagement, and contributions were integral to the success of the conference, and we extend our heartfelt appreciation.

 

The excellent presentations by our keynote speakers, and the engagement of delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, guests, and volunteers were key to the enriching presentations, discussions, networking, pleasant atmosphere, and overall commitment in creating an environment that facilitated connections and discussions within the aviation community.

 

The ATAC Annual Meeting was held on Wednesday, November 6. ATAC Members elected two new Directors, Shelly De Caria of Canadian North and Trevor Wakefield of North Cariboo Air.  Directors Calvin Ash, Bob Connors, Eric Edmondson and Steven Williams were re-elected to the Board. 

 

The 2024-2025 ATAC Board of Directors elected Christian Busch of Air Inuit as Chair. They also appointed Len Corrado as a Director.  Sherry Cooper, John Green and Lynne McMullen were appointed as Observers.

We would like to congratulate Gregg Evjen of KF Aerospace for being named an ATAC Lifetime Honoree. We also wish to sincerely thank Gregg for the excellent leadership he demonstrated during his two-year tenure as ATAC Chair.

 

We are excited to announce that our next Conference and Tradeshow will be in Montreal at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel from November 18-20, 2025.
