Letter to Competition Bureau - Draft Market Study Notice: Competition in Canada’s Airline Industry

The Air Transport Association of Canada appreciates the opportunity to comment on the scope of the study being planned by the Competition Bureau in drafting the terms of reference of its market study on the Competition in Canada’s Airline Industry.

  1. What is the state of competition in the Canadian airline industry?

  2. How can policymakers further support airline entry and expansion?

  3. How can policymakers further support consumers when shopping for airfares?
